Literature Text

in this love-lost rotten world
i carve my name into you

the crimson already on your skin

my never-whole broken heart is out of the
question
will you be mine?
but

one day, when you crumble
you'll take a piece of me down with you.

this is all i can give.
I will run away before you say you love me.

I hadn't really thought much about what it would be like to not know what feeling loved is like, nor how to love, but that is the purpose of poetry, isn't it? To become aware of other people's feelings and experiences.

I don't think you can't learn what it feels like to be loved, and how to love, very likely you can feel love's value deeper than someone who has been loved most of their life and thinks of it as being entirely normal. Like the fairy tale about the girl who was kept in dark caverns her whole childhood and finally finds her way out and sees the joy of sunlight for the first time. The title of which I now totally cannot remember. :,D But how can you love anyone else if you don't consider yourself worthy of love; first you must feel comfortable in your own skin. What can I say, I believe in love, everyone is looking for love even if they aren't thinking about it. That is why every writer and every poet talks about love.
